Moe's Guitars, Our philosophy: If we wouldn't play it, we wouldn't sell it; it's that simple.
If your in the market for a Big Neck '57 Gold Top you may want to consider this one. In the past 15 years I have seen only 3 with The Highly Grained Madagascar Rosewood Fretboard. Affectionately I name this 2003 R7 "Bragging Rights".
Prior to my shop obtaining this R7 last year it was a 1 owner instrument. I bought it and sold it through my shop. It then returned on trade from the buyer a few weeks ago. It has been a conversation piece in my shop and on the www since then.
The integrity of the instrument is 100% spot on. It has spent most of its 15 years in a collection. It is free of rash, worming, cracks, repairs or alterations.
I count 4 tiny indentations on the top about the size of a pen head and roughly 6 on the back with a dent length wise about 7/8" West of the control cover. These are most visible when held under light.
The neck is straight and true with no fret wear to speak of and a fully functional truss rod.
All electronics work as they should.
The instrument is set up ready to play with low action free of dead spots or choking.
We have performed the following:
Cleaned Fret Wire
Adjusted Pickup Height
Clean and Lubricated Pots
When we say "Set up ready to play, we really mean it."
8 lbs 13.9 ozs
Neck Dimensions Width:
1.692 Directly behind the nut
2.052 Center 12th fret
0.95 Center 1st fret
1.01 Center 12th fret
The instrument ships in its Original Custom Shop Case with COA.
Apologies, but we are not accepting trades or discounts on "Bragging Rights".
Thanks for viewing. We have many Les Paul's in stock that you will not find in Big Box Stores.
